It's a big deal because there are nutty people in this country who can't accept that Obama is president and they've created a cottage industry making up lies about where he was born despite evidence to the contrary. Sometimes I feel like Alice in Wonderland. Fact: Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Fact: John McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone.
I think it just goes to show how petty our country has become! There are much bigger issues going on that are of priority (just think, while Trump was babbling on like a fool about the birth certificate, President Obama was trying to command an operation against Enemy Number 1, Osama Bin Laden.) It is sad that our country chooses to focus so much time and energy on something so trivial to the bigger picture!
